Please make sure you remove your home address and/or phone number from a resume that you will publish on the web. Include a professional email address.
If you are providing your resume as a PDF, make sure to embed it using the PDF Embedder plugin. Consider that many readers will not click into a linked file. You may also consider copying and pasting your resume and reformatting it for the web.
- To embed PDFs in your Trubox:
- In the Dashboard, select Plugins.
- Search “PDF Embedder”. Select and click “Activate.”
- In the Edit view of your Page, clicking on the “+” in the upper left and scrolling down to the very bottom of the sidebar to select “PDF Embedder.” Do not select the “Embed” tool as it does not work for PDFs.
- A new PDF Embedder block should be added to your Page.
- Click the button “Media Upload” and upload your PDF file (saved as a .pdf extension) to the Media Library.
- Click the new upload icon and hit the “Select” button in the lower right hand corner of the window.
- You will not see any change to your PDF Embedder block. Hit the “Publish” button in the top right hand corner.
- When you select “View Page,” you will see your PDF has been embedded.
